Graduate Electrical Power Engineer of the YearNHP continues to encourage Australia’s youth in the engineering profession, with its joint sponsorship with Engineers Australia and Electrical Energy Society Australia of the Engineers Australia Graduate Electrical Power Engineer of the Year Award. This award has been initiated to encourage excellence and innovation in the field of Electrical power engineering. By encouraging young graduates to strive for a rewarding, long term career in Electrical power engineering it redresses the current trend of personnel shortages in this area. The award will honour a professional engineer who has made significant contributions in the practice of electrical power engineering and demonstrated individual contribution to the community. In acknowledgment to younger practitioners, these contributions will have been made during the preceding four years. |
