Engineering Employment Handbook 2008

Demand from both industry and academia sparked the need for a comprehensive employment handbook which was launched at the Engineering Careers Expo in 2006 by Ann Barker MP Parliamentary Secretary for Training and Higher Education.

The Handbook has since assisted members to gain permanent employment or work placement necessary for career progression. Feedback has confirmed that it is a valuable resource that has successfully assisted members in their search for vocational, graduate or professional employment opportunities.

The next edition of the Engineering Employment Handbook is scheduled to be released at the Engineering Careers Expo in April 2008. The new edition is expected to contain more than 150 company listings.

The handbook is exclusive to Engineers Australia members via Engineer.Career page of the Engineers Australia website www.engineersaustralia.org.au.
