A major review of Australia's higher education system is being undertaken to examine and report on the future direction of the higher education sector, its fitness for purpose in meeting the needs of the Australian community and economy and the options for ongoing reform.

A Discussion Paper has been released to seek views on the key issues outlined by the Review's Terms of Reference. The International and National Policy Directorate is preparing Engineers Australia's submission to the Review. Members should direct comment on the discussion paper to policy@engineersaustralia.org.au for inclusion in the submission. Comments must be received by Friday 25 July 2008.
